A darker beer with small to no head. More like the other Hansa.
Some fruit smells with cherry. Just from the smell and color so far this is what I am thinking of for a Juleøl. This is juleøl for me. A sweater, medium to full bodied beer that hits the flavours of Christmas time. You could have this with many different kind of meals or just a nice beer to have on its own. Its body is rich enough to support your heavy meat dishes but not as overpowering as say a porter. The sweet fruit flavours are present but complement the body perfectly. Very good juleøl.
