Darker beer with a big head on it.
On the nose it smells of berries. Light on the front end of with the heavy body coming through on the finish. Not getting the raisin it speaks of but more the coffee/plum flavours...chocolate is there as well. A good beer that was strong enough to stand up to the sausages we were eating with the drinks. Lamb and other red meats would be a good combination.
Dare I say pinnekjøtt!?!
